Sparkt is an interactive, cross-media social platform that leverages the power of storytelling to ignite community change.

The Sparkt team was not the typical media brand. My team at Sparkt started mounting a campaign to change our community for good. The app I created was to solve problems, highlight heroes, and join brand to lead large-scale community improvement efforts. Founder and CEO Marty Griffin (KDKA’s “Get Marty”) started our amazing team by gathering award-winning journalists, producers, and community advocates to produce engaging stories and events that inspire, enrage, engage, and spark a community into action.
